Red River Coffee Co. has been the go-to spot for coffee lovers in the Fargo area for over 35 years. From the moment we opened our doors in 1985, we have been passionate about creating a unique atmosphere and sharing our love for coffee with the community. Our coffee is freshly ground and brewed daily, and we offer a wide variety of flavors and brewing methods. Come for the Coffee, Stay for the Community
Red River Coffee Co. is a coffee shop that has been around for nearly four decades, owned and operated by four generations of women. Doris (Keltgen) Bower opened our doors in 1985, and we have been serving the best coffee and espresso drinks in town ever since. To our knowledge, the Shop was created in Page, North Dakota, and eventually passed on to her children, Joan and Dennis.
In 1998, the business was purchased by a new owner, Robin Jack. During this period, Robin moved the shop into the strip mall on 13th Avenue in West Fargo, and later into the Fargo-Dome as a coffee cart.
In 2015, the shop changed hands again, to Jessica Arneson. The Shop moved from the dome, all the way to the South end of Fargo on 52nd Avenue, and has remained since.
Now in 2023, Katelynn Smith is proud to be the fourth generation of owners, and is ecstatic to continue the legacy of Red River Coffee in Fargo.
Our goal is to provide our customers with a comfortable atmosphere and the freshest coffee around. We offer a wide selection of freshly roasted and brewed coffees, as well as tasty pastries and treats for any time of day.
